Do's and don'ts with our Pets!

This is Uli our Springer Spaniel.
She has been using EO's for a long time.  
If your pet is new to essential oils, check this out!

Do's
1.  Dilute the oil heavily with vegetable oil, coconut oil, or another fatty oil.
2.  Start small and use the less is more moderation.
3. Observe how each animal reacts and responds.
4. Every animal, just like humans, are different and need personal care.
5. Consult an animal health care provider who knows how to use EO with pets.
6. BE sure the quality of the oil is 100% pure and free from chemicals and fillers.
7. Keep the door open and make sure the animal can leave if it wants to.

Don'ts
1.  Don't use oils with kittens or puppies.  (babies are more sensitive)
2. Don't use near the eyes, nose, mouth or sensitive areas.
3.  Don't us "hot" oils.  (wintergreen, peppermint)
4.  Don't use high phenol oils.  (oregano, thyme, clove)
5. Caution with tea tree oil, citronella, dill, rosemary, basil, anise, cassia, citrus oils, cinnamon, pine, spruce, and celery seed.
